Terms of Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms:

By engaging Story Crew for film production, event management, marketing, or any other services, you (“Client”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between Story Crew (“Company”) and the Client.

2. Services Provided:

Story Crew provides a range of services including, but not limited to:

  • Film Production: Pre-production, production, and post-production services including scriptwriting, filming, editing, and sound design.
  • Event Management: Planning, organizing, and executing events including corporate events, conferences, and promotional events.
  • Marketing: Strategy development, content creation, social media management, and digital marketing services.
  • Consulting: Providing expert advice and guidance on film, event, and marketing projects.
  • Any other services as agreed upon in a separate written agreement.

3. Project Proposals and Agreements:

  • All projects will commence with a detailed proposal outlining the scope of work, deliverables, timeline, and fees.
  • A formal agreement or contract will be executed between the Client and Story Crew before the commencement of any project.
  • Any changes to the scope of work or timeline must be agreed upon in writing by both parties and may result in adjustments to the project fees.

4. Payment Terms:

  • Payment terms will be specified in the project proposal or agreement.
  • Typically, a deposit is required before the commencement of work.
  • Progress payments may be required at various stages of the project.
  • Final payment is due upon completion and delivery of the agreed-upon deliverables.
  • Late payments may incur penalties and interest charges.
  • All costs are subject to applicable taxes.

5. Intellectual Property:

  • Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, Story Crew retains ownership of all intellectual property created during the project, including but not limited to raw footage, scripts, designs, and marketing materials.
  • Upon full payment, the Client will receive a license to use the final deliverables for the agreed-upon purpose.
  • Story Crew reserves the right to use project deliverables for promotional purposes, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
  • Any client provided intellectual property remains the property of the client.

6. Client Responsibilities:

  • The Client is responsible for providing accurate and timely information and materials necessary for the completion of the project.
  • The Client is responsible for obtaining any necessary permits, licenses, and approvals required for the project.
  • The client is responsible for all content that they provide to Story Crew.
  • The Client is responsible for providing timely feedback and approvals.

7. Confidentiality:

  • Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary or sensitive information shared during1 the project.
  • This obligation of confidentiality will survive the termination of the agreement.

8. Cancellation and Termination:

  • Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice, subject to the terms outlined in the project agreement.
  • In the event of cancellation by the Client, any payments made are non-refundable, and the Client may be liable for any costs incurred by Story Crew up to the date of cancellation.
  • Story Crew may terminate the agreement if the client is in breach of these terms.

9. Liability and Indemnification:

  • Story Crew will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the project.
  • The Client agrees to indemnify and hold Story Crew harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the Client’s actions or omissions.
  • Story Crew’s liability will be limited to the amount paid by the client.

10. Force Majeure:

  • Neither party will be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, and government regulations.

11. Governing Law:

  • This agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Tamil Nadu,India.
  • Any disputes arising from this agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tamil Nadu,India.

12. Amendments:

  • These Terms and Conditions may be amended by Story Crew at any time. Any amendments will be communicated to the Client in writing.

13. Entire Agreement:

  • These Terms and Conditions,2 together with the project proposal and any other written agreements, constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
